Nederlandse Loterij originated in 2016 from a merger between Staatsloterij and Lotto. Since October 2021, we have also offered casino games and live betting on sporting events. Customers have a choice from ten familiar brands: Staatsloterij, Lotto, Eurojackpot, Miljoenenspel, Lucky Day, Krasloten, TOTO Sport, TOTO Casino, TOTO Winkel and Winnitt.
Our mission is to contribute to a happy, healthy and sporty Netherlands. That's how we make a lot of players happy with cash prizes every day. And after the prizes have been handed out, we give what is left to Dutch society: via the Ministry of Finance to the Dutch State, to NOC*NSF and to 18 charities via Stichting Aanwending Loterijgelden Nederland.
In 2025, players participating in our games won a total of €4.5 billion in prize money. This includes gaming tax. And just as importantly: thanks to all our players, Nederlandse Loterij was able to contribute €200.6 million to sports, charities and Dutch society.
We think it's important that gaming really remains a game. It must not be at the expense of pleasure. Responsible gaming is therefore more than a spearhead: for Nederlandse Loterij it is a primary task to carry out the gaming policy.
